Laurie Burke, PsyD:

Dr. Burke received her doctorate in clinical psychology with an emphasis in forensic psychology in 2008. As part of her training she completed a predoctoral internship in forensic psychology through Western State Hospital in Washington State.  Since 2008, she has worked with forensic clients at Oregon State Hospital in various roles, including completion of violence, suicide, and sexual offending risk assessments and court ordered fitness to proceed and criminal responsibility evaluations. In 2018 she became a Certified Forensic Evaluator and started completing forensic evaluations as part of a private practice. Dr. Burke is also committed to training and supervises postdoctoral psychologist residents and predoctoral practicum students in the practice of forensic psychology. Dr. Burke serves on the Oregon Forensic Evaluator Review Panel where she reviews forensic evaluations to ensure they meet Oregon Administrative Rule requirements.

Brianna Mintz, PhD:

Dr. Mintz, a Certified Forensic Evaluator, received her doctorate in counseling psychology in 2022. As part of her training, she completed an externship at Oregon State Hospital during which she conducted forensic evaluations and provided evidence-based individual and group therapy to adult, forensic, inpatient clients with serious mental illness. She completed her post-doctoral training at Burke Forensic Evaluation Services. Since 2022, she has completed a variety of forensic evaluations, including: fitness to proceed, criminal responsibility, sentencing, psychosexual, and violence risk assessments. Dr. Mintz also supervises predoctoral practicum students in the practice of forensic psychology.

Megan Wise, PsyD:

Dr. Wise received her doctorate in clinical psychology with an emphasis in forensic psychology in 2018. As part of her training, she completed a predoctoral internship through Augusta University, with a primary placement at East Central Regional Hospital in Augusta, Georgia. Since 2018, Dr. Wise has worked with forensic clients at Oregon State Hospital. Initially, she worked on an inpatient unit for competency restoration clients. Dr. Wise became an Oregon certified forensic evaluator in 2019. In Fall 2019, she moved to the Forensic Evaluation Services department at Oregon State Hospital where she completes fitness to proceed and criminal responsibility evaluations. Dr. Wise is currently available for fitness to proceed, criminal responsibility, sentencing, and general psychological evaluations.
